Thank you for choosing fastChop! fastChop.com is the exclusive online and app-based service operated by fastChop Logistics Limited (fastChop, we, us, or our). These Terms of Service (Terms) outline the rules and conditions for your access to and use of our website and mobile application. We know legal agreements can feel overwhelming, so we've aimed to keep this straightforward. That said, it's essential that you review them thoroughly. Your continued use of the Platform means you accept these Terms in full. If anything here isn't clear, reach out to us at support@fastchop.com—we're here to help.

Our Services

We provide a convenient way for you to order meals from local restaurants and have them delivered right to your door. Through the Platform, you can browse options, place requests, and we'll handle the pickup and delivery via our dedicated riders ("Riders").

The Platform features a selection of nearby eateries where you can pick your favorite dishes. Keep in mind, fastChop isn't partnered with or endorsed by these restaurants—we simply act as your intermediary to place orders and ensure smooth transport. We don't own, store, or prepare any food; our role is limited to facilitating the process.

We can't vouch for the exact quality, freshness, or preparation standards of meals from third-party vendors, as that's outside our control. Descriptions and images are for reference only, and we disclaim any guarantees about accuracy or satisfaction. Any implied warranties about food quality are excluded to the maximum extent allowed by law.

How to Place an Order

To get started, explore the restaurant listings on the Platform's main page. Select your preferred spot, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You'll see a breakdown of your selections, including quantities and any notes.

All order details and confirmations appear in English. Double-check everything before hitting "Confirm"—this creates a binding request to purchase the chosen items.

Once confirmed, your order becomes an offer to the restaurant. You can cancel anytime prior to acceptance, but after that, changes aren't possible. A handy order history and summary tool is available in your account for tracking past requests.

If a restaurant you love isn't listed, feel free to suggest it via support@fastchop.com, though we're under no obligation to add it.

Delivery Details

Delivery happens directly through fastChop from the restaurant to you. You're expected to be available or arrange for receipt of your order at the specified location.

Provide accurate contact info, including your full address and phone number—it's on you to ensure these are correct to avoid issues.

If part of your order is missing upon arrival, notify our support team right away. We'll arrange for the shortfall to be addressed, potentially with a credit or replacement where feasible.

Refunds or rescheduling aren't available if you simply decide against accepting a completed delivery.

For any mix-ups or errors in the order, contact us immediately without altering the items. We'll guide you on next steps, like returns if applicable.

Getting Started: Accounts and Access

Our Platform is designed for personal use by individuals aged 18 or older who can legally enter contracts. By signing up, you confirm you meet these criteria and that all details you provide are truthful and current.

To register, submit your full name, email, phone number, and delivery address. We'll send a verification code to finalize setup. At that stage, you'll need to acknowledge these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Keep your login credentials secure—don't share them. You're accountable for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, alert us promptly at support@fastchop.com.

With an active account, you can browse, order, and track deliveries effortlessly. Update your info as needed to keep things accurate; inaccuracies could lead to service disruptions.

We may ask for extra verification docs anytime to confirm your identity. You can close your account whenever you like, which will erase your data from our systems.

In cases of suspected security risks, we might require a password reset. Non-compliance could lead to temporary suspension.

Payment Options

Payments are handled securely by trusted third-party providers integrated into the Platform.

You can pay via:

  • Pre-loaded digital wallet (top up using supported methods);
  • Debit/credit card;
  • Bank transfer;
  • QR code scan;
  • Integrated mobile wallets; or
  • Other options added by our partners.

Prices for menu items are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦), inclusive of applicable taxes. Delivery charges appear at checkout.

The final total is displayed before confirmation and is payable upfront. If prices adjust due to external factors, we'll notify you in-app, and you'll need to approve the new amount to continue.

By using the Platform, you authorize these payment terms.

Platform Availability and Your Responsibilities

While we strive for reliability, the Platform and services may occasionally experience downtime, errors, or unavailability—we can't promise constant access.

You're in charge of your own internet connection and device setup. Ensure anyone using your account knows and follows these Terms.

Access the Platform only for permitted personal purposes. We may update these Terms periodically; check back regularly, and we'll notify registered users of major changes via the app.

If these Terms don't work for you, please stop using the Platform.

Ownership and Content Rights

fastChop and its collaborators hold all copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property in the Platform and its contents. Protected by Nigerian and international laws, these can't be copied, adapted, or distributed without our explicit permission—personal viewing only.

You grant us a limited license to use any feedback or suggestions you provide to improve our services.

If you spot potential IP issues on the Platform, let us know at support@fastchop.com, and we'll investigate promptly.

Menu descriptions come from historical orders and restaurant inputs; if something seems off, flag it to us for correction—we aren't liable for third-party inaccuracies.

No Guarantees on Information

Platform details about restaurants and dishes are informational only—not professional advice. We update as often as possible but make no promises about completeness or timeliness. Relying on this info is at your discretion.

Your Promises and Restrictions

Use the Platform responsibly and legally. Prohibited actions include:

  • Violating laws or regulations;
  • Interfering with our operations or others' use;
  • Engaging in scams or providing fake info; or
  • Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Platform's tech.

You won't hold us responsible for harms from disallowed activities.

Liability Caps

To the fullest extent of Nigerian law, we disclaim liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from Platform use, including lost profits or data issues.

We're not responsible for:

  • Service interruptions or delays;
  • Third-party links or content;
  • Unauthorized account access (beyond reasonable security measures); or
  • Device damage from viruses encountered via the Platform.

Direct claims for negligence or fraud are the only exceptions we can't waive.

These Terms are for non-commercial use; business applications need our written okay.

Holding Us Harmless

You'll cover any costs, claims, or losses we face from your misuse of the Platform, order inaccuracies, or breaches of these Terms. We'll handle defenses if we choose, but you must assist.

When Things End

These Terms kick in when you first use the Platform and last until you delete your account or we suspend/terminate for cause (e.g., violations).

Handling Disputes

These Terms follow Nigerian law. Any disagreements go to Nigerian courts exclusively.

Keeping Things Whole

If a court strikes down any part of these Terms, the rest stays enforceable.

Your Data and Notices

We handle your info per our Privacy Policy—check it out for details. We only share as needed for orders or legal reasons.

By using the Platform, you okay electronic notices (email/app) and digital records in place of paper ones.

What Happens If You Break Rules

Violations may trigger account suspension, termination, or reports to authorities. Changes take effect immediately upon notice.
